With Sports being talked about, we can’t forget to mention a few names who have glorified the past and phrased history -
We hold top 3 positions in international cricket for both men and women. Be it cricket, badminton, football or kabaddi, Indian enters the playground as a fierce competitor and a disciplined player. We have Saina Nehwal and Sindhu in Badminton, Sania Mirza in tennis, and have won numerous Kabaddi matches. No one stands a chance when Indian talent speaks of itself. We are always up for challenges, and hoisting the national flag at such events fills up with pride.
Though we love Cricket the most, but our national game hockey is also never left behind. We have proved ourselves at the Olympics too. Having hosted commonwealth games and played for Asian games, we have set high standards for ourselves. We are performers as well as encouragers. This year with Special Olympics on the line, we are ready for the show and to cheer for the teams in FIFA world Cup 2019.
